One of the most exciting moments of building my home was seeing them sliding my beautiful Bertazzoni : Professional X486GGGVX 48 Pro-Style Gas Range into place. I designed every inch of my kitchen, including a few spice pull outs around the stove, banks of pot drawers on either side, a pot filler above it, and an island with a sink across from it. It is a cook’s kitchen, and it was the best large scale luxury item I indulged in when building my home. I couldn’t be happier with it.
One of the best things about mine is the second oven, which will warm things on very low heat, also making it perfect for drying foods. I also can’t say enough about having six burners PLUS the griddle. The burners are awesome, one is very low burning, so you can leave things simmering unattended for a longer period of time without worrying about burning, another has a double burner so it will bring a huge pot of water to a boil so much faster than a conventional stove. The entire stove and ovens are super easy to clean. The ovens get very hot, so you can just put a pot of water in, blast the heat for a while, then let it cool and wipe it clean.
When I was looking for my new stove I narrowed my choice down to a few options, including a Jenn Air and a Wolf, but in my price range, I found the Bertazzoni to be the most beautiful of the three (although I’m glad Wolf has come up with some options to those huge red knobs), and even though it was priced the lowest of the three, my Bertazzoni included all of the options I wanted, There are also smaller versions of these beautiful professional ranges for a pre-existing kitchen if you’re doing a renovation or just looking for an amazing new stove, and you can get it in a variety of colours, but I like stainless steel for my modern kitchen.
